After the festivities of the Month of Service leading up to PT Timah's 48th anniversary ended, another event that was no less exciting was presented by PT Timah's internal environment, namely Health Week 2024.
The opening ceremony for Healthy Week was held at the Stannia Sports Center, on Thursday (11/7/2024), marked by the handing over of the Baporseni banner by the Director of Human Resources of PT Timah Tbk, Hendra Kusuma Wardana to the Chair of Baporseni Ebby Wibisana and passed it on to Anderi as the representative of all athletes Healthy Week participants.
Health Week 2024 is an event presented to all employees in all the Company's operational areas. A number of sports (sports) will be competed in this activity, including; futsal, badminton, archery, E-sports, talent search, and also virtual running.
Hendra Wardana Kusuma welcomed the holding of the 2024 Healthy Week Olympic event. According to him, this event is a medium for friendship, synergy, and harmony between employees wherever they work.
"Health Week and the Month of Service are essentially part of the Company's efforts to build harmony with the people around it. "If the Month of Service has positive external implications, then Health Week is our effort to build harmony within the Company environment," he said.
Therefore, said the man who is often called by the initials HKW, winning or losing is not the main goal, but rather mere entertainment. According to him, togetherness, solidarity, happiness, and sportsmanship are the real victories of this Healthy Week event.
“48 years of age is an infinite number, it has no limits. Sports, arts, and religion are our media for the Mobile Compact. Therefore, uphold sportsmanship," he said.
The Chief Executive of the 2024 Healthy Week, Guntur Avriandi, also conveyed the same thing. He said, one of the aims of holding Healthy Week was to restore unity and integrity between employees.
"As employees, we are also required to be positive figures who present the face of the company," he said.
Competitions in all sports are held in a marathon. All final matches will be held on August 1 and the presentation of awards to the champions will be held the following day, namely at the peak of PT Timah's 48th anniversary, August 2, 2024.*
