EAST BELITUNG -- PT TIMAH Tbk distributes capital for Small and Micro Small businesses (MSMEs) in Belitung Island through the Second Quarter 2022 Micro Small Business Funding program, held in the meeting room of the East Belitung Regent, Monday (27/06/2022 ).
Previously, PT Timah Tbk through the Micro Small Business Funding program (PUMK) again distributed PUMK funds for the second quarter of 2022 in the amount of IDR 1.2 billion for 27 MSME actors in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands.
Meanwhile, on Belitung Island, PT Timah distributed funds to East Belitung recipients as many as nine people with a total amount of Rp. 335 million, and to Belitung Regency as many as two people with a total of Rp. 225 million.
The distribution of PUMK funds was also attended by the Regent of East Belitung, Burhanudin, Head of Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperatives, Department of SME Trade and Manpower Cooperatives (DKUKMPTK) Belitung Regency, Budi Private, Head of the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of East Belitung Gustaf Pilandra, Head of Belitung Production Unit Achmad Haspani and Head of PUMK Sindhu Dhahono Putro.
The Regent of East Belitung, Burhanudin appreciated PT Timah Tbk's commitment to the people of East Belitung, especially the MSMEs in East Belitung through the PUMK program.
"Our hope is that MSMEs that get capital can actually produce, can meet the needs of economic production so that they can revive the community's economy," said the Regent.
Burhanudin also hopes that all MSME business processes from upstream and downstream of MSMEs can be assisted, facilitated, supported and fostered so that they can develop properly and become worthy as MSMEs.
"To all the people of East Belitung, let's revive the economy with our MSMEs through the maximum utilization of the existing natural resources in our area," Burhanudin hoped.
Similarly, the Head of the East Belitung Manpower, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Service, Gustaf Pilandra, also thanked PT Timah Tbk for helping the MSME capital in East Belitung Regency.
"Alhamdulillah, of the 17 proposals submitted, we passed 9 MSMEs, we hope that this will continue to be sustainable," said Gustaf.
Gustaf also hopes that MSMEs that have received the capital can increase their production, so that they exist and advance their MSMEs.
Meanwhile, Friskila Mardiana (42) one of the business actors who received PT Timah Tbk's PUMK program assistance was very grateful for the capital loan because she could immediately become a foster partner of PT Timah Tbk.
She said that he had wanted to be a foster partner of PT Timah Tbk for a long time, in fact, she knew that PT Timah's mentorship was from one of the fostered partners in East Belitung.
"We are very grateful to be a foster partner of PT Timah Tbk, and I have long wanted to be a foster partner of PT Timah Tbk," she said.
