KARIMUN – To ease the burden on the community in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Timah Tbk together with the security guard in Karimun Regency carried out social service activities such as basic necessities and donors.
This activity was carried out in commemoration of the 41st Anniversary of Security Guard which was held some time ago. The food package assistance is expected to be able to help the community, especially now that the price of food needs is starting to creep up.
The Chief Executive of the Activities Kamto, conveyed his appreciation to PT Timah Tbk for participating in the Security Guard Anniversary activities.
"Thank you to PT Timah, for always supports our activities in every year. The security guard community in Karimun Regency, supports social service activities this time," he said.
He hopes that the social assistance they provide can ease the burden on the economically disadvantaged community.
In the future, his party also hopes that the synergy that has been established with PT Timah can be continued and be defended.
"Without a support from the company, our activities cannot run optimally. Hopefully, the activities can be carried out on Kundur Island in the future, not only in Karimun, because we know that many of our members are also from Kundur Island," he said.
One of the beneficiaries, Yati (56) was happy with this assistance, because it can help the community.
"Currently, daily necessities have crept up. I hope that all parties care about the small community, and that basic prices can return to normal," he said.*
