PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car in 2023 is planned to visit 24 points on Bangka Island to provide health services for the community.
Until mid-February 2023, they visited two areas on Bangka Island to provide services for hundreds of residents.
The PT Timah Tbk Health Car visited two areas, namely the Tanjung Ketapang Village, South Bangka Regency, and the Mantung Village, Belinyu District, Bangka Regency.
PT Timah Tbk Health Car is a free health service from members of the Indonesian MIND Mining Industry Holding to bring health services closer to the community.
The health service carried out on the car was greeted enthusiastically by the public. In addition to providing health services, education is also carried out about healthy lifestyles and stunting to the community.
Tanjung Ketapang Urban Village Secretary, Rifan Apriadi appreciated PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car program for providing many benefits to the community.
"Moreover, this is a medical examination, it is known that people who want to check their health at the puskesmas are rather reluctant. If there is no activity like this, it is very unlikely that the community will want to have their health checked," he said during the implementation of the PT Timah Tbk Health Car in Ketapang Village, Sunday (5/ 2/2023) ago.
Rifan is grateful that the presence of a Healthy Car in his Village can help his residents. In addition, residents are also enthusiastic about participating in this activity. He hopes this social program will continue.
"From the look on their faces, it can be seen that they are very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. We really hope that PT Timah or other companies can carry out social activities like this, which are of course very useful for the community and real for the community," he said.
Suryati (70), a resident who took part in this health check, admitted that previously she was reluctant to have her health checked regularly. Even though based on the doctor's analysis he had several diseases.
