PANGKALPINANG - In commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Ar Raudah Foundation in Selindung Village, Pangkalpinang City will hold a call to-prayer competition for children.
To make this call to prayer competition a success, PT Timah Tbk donated dozens of pairs of Muslim clothing for children, consisting of sarongs, Koko clothes, and caps.
The head of the Ar Raudah Foundation, Sri Yanti Mala (57), said that their foundation also held a call to prayer competition for their students to celebrate the Prophet's Birthday.
He said that the call to prayer competition would be held in Jakarta
Ar Raudah Selindung TPA, on Jalan Jendral Sudirman, RT 02, RW 01, Selindung Village, Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province on Monday (10/10/2022).
"Alhamdullilah, on the Prophet's Birthday this year we were able to conduct a call to prayer competition for our students. We are very grateful to PT Timah Tbk for being willing to help us carry out this activity," he said when receiving the assistance, Friday (7/10/2022).
Yanti did not expect to receive assistance from PT Timah, and for that, she did not stop being grateful.
“Honestly, I didn't think that PT Timah would be helped, like Ketiban Bulan. I really didn't expect it at all, very grateful for the help that PT Timah has given us," he said.
Ar Raudah Foundation which is a recitation foundation for the Koran Kindergarten (TKA/TKQ), Quran Education Park (TPA/TPQ), and also the Taklim Council. From 2008 until now, hundreds of students have graduated from this foundation. Unmitigated in the last few years, around 40 to 50 students have graduated.
"The first time our Foundation graduated there were only 2 students, in the following year 7 students, continued in the third year around 20 students, and alhamdulillah until now on average there are around 40 to 50 students that we graduate every year," he said.
In the future, he hopes that PT Timah Tbk can support their activities, especially in improving educational facilities at the Foundation.
"We hope that in the future PT Timah can pay more attention to our Foundation so that it can help the facilities and infrastructure in our classrooms to be even better," he concluded.
